Is there any way to determine which has the better GPS? I use mine all the time.

Also, do any of the external power packs/boosters have onboard storage? Like a mini-hard drive?

Yes, it has turned out well. A lot of work, but it looks really good right now.

Drywall time. Since I figured that it would house the washing machine and dryer, I elected to use the mold resistant drywall in the new laundry closet. The ceilings of all the closets have it as well, as it's right underneath the HVAC vent. As I was tearing it apart, I noticed condensation, so I figured that the mod resistant stuff would be the best option.


Coat closet next to the new laundry closet. It was right about here that I believe I started pooping dry wall during the workday.


So this is the other side, in the bed room. As you can see, there is still some space left over for a closet. And this bedroom has another closet on the opposite corner of the room that is now about the same width (but much deeper).


Drywall complete, mudding done, paint applied. Even the baseboards are installed. At this point, the only thing left to do was hook up the electrical and connect the dryer vent. My wife put in a coat rack on the left, and that tape on the right is for shelving in the near future.

Gotta say, the last bit of vent work was a colossal ****. The delivery guys were early and they had to take the old washer and dryer first (I was using the old dryer to stand on and get up in to the ceiling). Ended up buying a  step ladder and having my wife help push the last bit of pipe in to the connector. But it's in. And the latest test from the vent shows there is quite a bit of air being pushed out.

Well, that's it for a little while. I might post some pictures of the kitchen when I knock the wall down and it's open.

Honestly, the car isn't worth it to me to spend the money they were asking. I hate driving it. It seems like when ever I take it to the shop, it needs over a grand. I'm at the point where I'd rather have a car payment.

Why am I commending this? Because this is how it's "supposed" to go down. They were professional and courteous with the man, right until the point where he pulled what appeared to be a pistol. Cops responded appropriately and accurately. This is something that people should see to understand how quickly things can go from okay to oh crap I'm gonna die. Also, good teaching aid for future officers

You will be surprised at how decent your medical care was when you get out. Military healthcare isn't nearly as bad as many people think. Not so long as you insist on getting care.

When doing drywall corner beads, where there is a bead on the edge of a frame and also along the top, do you have to cut 45 degree cuts to the very tip and line them up? Like this:

As for Worf...I agree his character was a bit bland most of the time, but I think you can make a case for him to be in the next series as a main character. They could start incorporating him getting back into the graces of the Klingon empire. I believe that he is supposed to eventually become an ambassador to Klingon. I also seem to remember that he did regain some status in the Empire so it could be him restoring his name even further mixing his time in the Defiant and Klingon warships

I don't. He's already in the graces of the Klingon Empire at the end of DS9. He's a member of the same house as the Klingon Chancellor.

I want something to pick up after the TNG movies. You can include characters from other series, but I want a fresh new cast.

Sure. He had his own way of doing things, but he still had morals in line with Starfleet.

Worf always seems lost in Starfleet. He's probably the most uninteresting character in Star Trek. A quasi-warrior in a society that has all but banished them, but is not warrior enough to live in his warrior society of origin.

Does Michael Dorn need money or something? Because Worf seems like he would be a boring character as a starfleet captain. Not a diplomat, kind of a warrior, pretty impulsive but doesnt strike me as the moral high ground type.

Michael Dorn is once again pushing his idea for a Captain Worf TV series. Apparently CBS and Paramount are listening.

The series would take place after DS9 but before the Nemesis movie.

funny, I'm ripping out a deck to put in a patio.

If you have ugly concrete, put pavers over top.  You will be MUCH happier with that than a deck.  Decks are truly awful.

I have a ground level deck. I am not allowed to pour concrete to replace it, except to build the deck. So at the end of my list of things to do is rip out the rotting deck and replace with paving stones.
