Creative sort of pigeon-holed him. Personally, I love watching the dude...he's hilarious. If you remember when he first burst into the WWE scene, he was a helluva wrestler. A Santino heel turn would really work, I think.

I only caught a few matches, but Sin Cara is very fun to watch. Love Vince on the mic, as usual...and Vader owned! Loved the crowd chanting "YOU STILL GOT IT!"

I loved Vince McMahon as an announcer back in the 90s.

I think Punk is far better suited as a heel. If he embraced his straight edge persona and rolled with it as 'hate-edge', he could really get heat from the fans. Search on youtube "CM Punk just OWNED a fan!" - from back in his early days. edit: possible NSFW language in that video...

Hell, I'd watch it. I think a lot of wrasslin fans over the age of 25 would watch. WWE is more hack 'n slash rather than wrestling. Give me Bret Hart over Cena any day.

That's nuts! Another Jericho related bit...when Raw was in Richmond Monday, a few buddies of mine went. Turns out after the show, Jericho and a WWE trainer came to their house and partied. So pissed I miss out on this!

Ohh man...Skip and Sunny! Phineus and Henry! They have no real competition, either, which I'm sure plays a part. Many will argue that the Attitude era was the best era in professional wresting. I attribute that to the heated feud between the two brands. WWE was, as you mentioned earlier, going down a watered down, lame path. WCW saved them. I would LOVE a European invasion stable. I thought the Nation of Domination was brilliant. I think superstars who were STRICTLY tag team dudes were GREAT for the brand! Sadly, I think we'll never see another Legion of Doom.

There are, collectively, a handful of posters on this board who I have no doubt could write awesome storylines and angles for the WWE. I'm in the same boat as eliminating the two brands, and getting rid of the World Championship. However, the reason they're not doing this has got to be their target audience these days: kids. They don't care about stables. They could care less about the brands. They just want their John Cenas.

Did anybody ever used to 'shotgun' beer out of a bottle by putting in a straw and bending it to the side of the bottle? Works like a charm!
