  1. I've got something for his daughter too, she's a cutie.
  2. Well, Hogan did announce he will be starting his own wrestling promotion, and claimed it will be bigger than the WWE. I doubt that would be the case though, unless the Hulkster wrestled.
  3. So Sandman was released. He was entertaining. And Booker T is gone now too, this is getting ridiculous.
  4. Ugh, I guess since Ken Kennedy screwed up with the drug thing, they had to take a comedic route.
  5. Flair officially quit. Talks are ensuing with TNA (per Lordsofpain.net)
  6. WHAT?! Man, that is very disappointing. Those guys were so over with the crowd and put on great matches.
  7. Man, that's disappointing. Raw was to be in Green Bay I believe this Monday or the next...at least there will be more Tag-Team action.
  8. There's only so much a wrestler can do against Kahli. The guy has no knees and has a bowling shoe for a chin.
  9. I thoroughly enjoyed RAW last night. It was nice to see match after match without McMahon strutting out and talking about how great Umaga is. I feel like WWE needs to focus on their midcard level, especially the Intercontinental belt. I feel like it has no prestige, and nobody cares, where back in the day, guys like Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Mr. Perfect, etc would have stellar matches for the belt. Raw also needs a cruiserweight division. They have Super Crazy, and he's great, but they need to add more.
  10. Chris Benoit mystery editor confesses: claims "terrible coincidence" "I feel incredibly bad for all the attention this got because of the fact that what I said turned out to be the truth. Like I said it was just a major coincidence, and I will never vandalize anything on wikipedia or post wrongful information. I've learned from this experience. I just can't believe what I wrote was actually the case, I've remained stunned and saddened over it..." http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Chris_Benoit_mystery_editor_confesses:_Claims_%22terrible_coincidence%22
  11. Oh yeah! I remember that. Yeah, that was pretty tasteless, but it was obvious the guy was a professional. I stand corrected Koolblue... At least Vince and Co. has decided to resort back to more pure wrestling, and less soap opera storyline.
  12. Can you reference this? I can only remember seeing good things happen towards handicapped kids; Bret Hart giving them his sunglasses before matches, Shawn escorting a handicapped kid out of the arena when he tried to come in and help the match, rather than having the security guards manhandle him, etc. And about 95% of Pro-Wrestlers aren't in it for the money; it's a hard, hard lifestyle. Even if you're jobbing for the WWE, you're not making a lot of money; you have to have the passion for it.
  13. Wrestling sure does take a toll on ones body and mind. No doubt that Benoit has used steroids in the past (I doubt recently though). He's also suffered numerous concussions. Combine those two and I'm sure you have a recipe for disaster. A lot of these wrestlers were my heroes when I was a kid; Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart. Both Shawn and Bret have health problems and Owen is gone. It's sad to think about.
  14. Sources say that his wife killed their son with a trashbag, and then called Benoit home. When Benoit found out, he strangled his wife with a cord or rope, then hung himself.
  15. yeah (by the way, Vince McMahon is amazing, haha. Love him or hate him, his character is great and he pulls it off so well)
  16. Nice seats. I was all the way up in the raftors surrounded by little kids who never cheered. It was still amazing though! Tell me, did Kane's pyro scare the living **** out of you too?
  17. I was at Raw last night, and here are a few observations: - Lillian Garcia is gorgeous and has an amazing voice. (sang the national anthem) - Val Venis still gets a huge pop. (Dark Match) - So does Hacksaw Jim Duggan - The majority of people don't like John Cena. I think he has canned cheers, because after the first few seconds of the intro, booing was rampant. - When Kane comes out, it's freaking scary. I would have crapped my pants if I were ringside. - When Edge said "Dc is the home of the Washington Redskins..." about 80% of the crowd boo'ed their own team. - Vince McMahon really sells his part well. I'm not sure if this was on TV, but when he came out for the signing, he slipped and almost fell off the apron of the ring, then threw a tantrum and kicked the ropes and told people to shut up. It was actually really cool to be able to see Vince, I'm not sure why, but it just was. -After Raw ended, John Cena had a match against Umaga. I'm not sure what the purpose of this was, but Cena had Umaga in a submission hold when Umaga's manager broke up the hold, thus ending in a DQ. Maybe it was to alleviate the traffic?
  18. Seeing Austin again was great; man, what a huge pop! I'm going to Raw in DC next week, and I hope he makes an appearance!
  19. Jerry "the king" Lawler I'm liking this Kane/Kahli thing going on, I'm not a fan of squash matches. I think Lashley/Umaga will turn out decent if the angle plays out alright. The huge fight tonight seemed to get a huge pop from the crowd.
  20. 416... I wanted lower bowl seats, and I didn't think they would sell that fast, but I bought these the same day they went on sale and were the only tickets available.
