If we beat the Browns and none of the teams fighting for a wildcard go 2-0, we’re in.

I, for one, am ready to see Wentz pull a Reverse Nick Foles and lead this team to a Super Bowl!
Quick release, play action, threatening all levels of the field and letting the run game do its thing with a legitimately good defense playing complementary football!
Commies Country, let’s ride!
I (half jokingly) made the same comment about Wentz coming off the bench and leading the team to the Super Bowl about *47 pages ago lol…when he was inserted into the game yesterday I literally laughed and said “Oh ****, it’s happening” lol…- 2

Theres 2 dudes with a z in there name and the other one is that miserable guy
are you doing your annoying thing or being serious?
you're not being serious.
That still doesn’t clear things up lol…who’s the other “z” guy? What does Payne’s father have to do with anything? Why are we going down a dark alley? Why am I even included?…my World War Z explanation made more sense lol.- 1

It's been the same 8 or 9 dudes talking all year.
That doesn’t add any clarity lol…- 2

Why? We don't live in the dark ages anymore. We have zoom or Teams.
Ok so you’re the “z” he referred to in his post lol…embarrassed to say I immediately though “World War Z” and tried to figure out if alluding to me as “Califan Z” and a dark alley had anything to do with the movie and why Payne’s dad would be there lol…- 1

You z and Darons dad should talk in a long dark alley.
I have no idea what that means lol…5 minutes ago, Skinsinparadise said:They apparently loved what they saw from Chase in that short stint, just short of a 90 which is their grade of elite play

I wouldn’t say that. Washington had TWO weeks to put a stranglehold on a playoff spot and failed miserably. We still control our own destiny, but we still have the Lions and Seahawks nipping at their heels. Losing those last two games has made the last two weeks must wins because I doubt the Lions lose both of their last two games.
I said “almost” lol…but the main point I was getting at was that we were previously saying we could clench a wildcard against the Browns…if all the teams fighting for a wildcard spot this weekend lose, securing a playoff spot against the Browns is still possible. And 4 weeks ago people said “I doubt the Lions lose any of their last 4 games.”- 1

Can’t speak for VoR, but for me - I’d be fine with him as a backup. The type of backup that immediately concedes the position back to the starter the moment the starter is healthy, no matter the record. No more illusions of grandeur for an extended stay.
Me exactly…don’t care about the new shoes after each win or what it means for him to be starting after sleeping on his sister’s couch lol…but he does seem to at least understand his role and place as a backup and appears comfortable in that role. Both he and Wentz seemed like they are team-first players. No sulking or distractions or any drama from either of them.- 1

Packers losing would make the Commaders losing almost irrelevant…

47 pages ago was only December 16th. I checked. Honestly, that's not that impressive. Now if you had said it ... 134 pages ago, on October 23rd, that would have been a lot more impressive.
(Also, for the record, I never wanted to see Heinicke ever play, and even after he started winning, while I conceded you don't miss with something that's working, I never wanted to see him plan. Like ever. So I guess I wanted to see Wentz again by default. Or Howell. Or ... literally any other QB who is not infuriatingly limited.)
Heinicke did what a good backup is supposed to do: keep the season from derailing while the starter is sidelined. If they make the playoffs it’s gonna be largely because of how the team played while he was starting, and he didn’t really do much during that time to keep them from winning. But these last 3 games showed his “moxie” tank was empty, even though he played well for the most part this last game. But he hasn’t overcome bad luck and bad play in like a month.- 1

I said *47 pages ago that I might be the **only one who wouldn’t mind seeing Wentz again, so I’m content with him starting…just for the love of God don’t get injured again lol.
*47 pages ago is an estimate for humorous effect
**I know others didn’t mind seeing Wentz again—humorous effect once more lol.

Packers have eight losses to our seven. If we win next week with the Seahawks and Lions lose we clinch. We have the tie breaker over the Packers since we beat them.
Tiebreakers don’t matter since we have a tie…and since it’s still possible for the Packers to go 9-8, we need them to lose at least once.- 1

Green Bay loses tomorrow, and clinching a wildcard birth is possible next week. Hoping the offense picks up with Wentz…

Win two home games and we're in. I'll take it after a 1-4 start.
Seahawks should win out. They play a Jets team that is completely hapless at QB and then end the season against the dog doo doo Rams.
Lions I'm not sure. They should beat the Bears next week but the Bears have been a tough out in recent weeks and Fields mobility should present challenges. Their season finale is in Green Bay and the Packers might still be in it and that's always a tough place to play(especially for the Lions).
Seahawks are 1-5 over their last 6 games, so I’m not feeling they “should” beat anyone over the next two weeks.- 1

It would have been nice to pull off the shocker, we had our chances but there is new hope with Wentz and we'll quickly see how well he can do against pressure as the next two games are against two of the top 5 pass rushers in the NFL.
Gotta win the next 2 or we're mostly likely done.
i don’t have faith that Seattle, Detroit, or Washington will win both of their next two games. That would be good for us, though…- 1

He's played in 9/15 games but even if you standardized his stats for 15 games, he'd still be at just 38 for 564…
We’ve only played 14 games…Probably doesn’t change his stats much, but just sayin’.

I guess that 3-0 is completely out of the question then.
Or 2-0-1…or 1-1-1…or 0-0-3. But he did say “likely” so, yeah, 3-0 is “likely” out of the question. (0-0-3 is still in play, though lol)
