  1. Two weirdest perspectives/viewpoints/theories I read on twitter in all of this lol:

    1. Guy blamed fans for showing excitement over the possibility of hiring Bieniemy for OC, because Snyder would see how excited we all are and would decide not to sell the team because of it.

    2. When hearing that Snyder sent the private jet to take Jason Wright from California back to the east coast to meet Bieniemy (I guess they grew up in the same area), another guy on twitter thought it was Snyder trying to show the league owners he really has changed and is making good decisions in order to get their blessing in remaining owner.

New owner needs to take care of things like, where is the Stadium and how to get to his box. where is his office, where he can pickup a commanders hat? Take your congrad calls..... leave the team management, coaches alone this year. Don't do a Snyder .

Owners are usually in on GM hires. Plus, we don't have a team president on the football side of things.

Snyder came in, fired Casserly, and kept Norv...then inserted himself and Cerrato in as GM, and remained the de facto general manager for the next 17 years. That would be "doing a Snyder".

  3.

Former NFL defensive back Eric Johnson was arrested, along with seven others, on human trafficking charges in Georgia, Nick Bromberg of Yahoo Sports reports.

Charges for the eight range from human trafficking, racketeering, aggravated assault, kidnapping and gang-related offenses. Georgia attorney general Chris Carr claims, per Yahoo, that the seven men and one woman arrested “are alleged to have engaged in the trafficking of five female victims, including one minor, to further their criminal enterprise.”

Johnson, who played with three NFL teams from 2000-05, is facing a charge of conspiracy to violate the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, a count of trafficking a person for sexual servitude and three charges of violating the state’s street gang terrorism and prevention act.

The alleged crimes were committed between October 2021 and July 2022.

This tweet is crap.  It's an 11 hour old tweet and JJ Arcega-Whiteside Stan has 1720 followers.  File 13 it in the trash can.

I just wondered the same thing lol...

Why not? Who is saying they can’t be retrained? Also how long does a drug sniffing dog stay in service? It’s not like you trained it for 30 years of service.

I haven't read even one sentence on the topic lol...but I'm confused as to what the issue is. On the surface it kinda sounds like "We need to keep marijuana illegal for the sake of those poor drug-sniffing dogs," which can't be right lol...

  6. I'm still a fan of making all porn sites have the .xxx extension instead of .com/.org/etc. And then making it the parent's responsibility to block all sites ending with .xxx...browsers can provide that feature for parents to use with a password so only they can unblock it. Do the same with your kid's iPhone... and if the kid still gets around those safeguards, oh well. Because of the nature of the internet, it's impossible to eliminate--or even come close to eliminating--access to a ****-ton of stuff. So parents, do what you can, have talks with your kids on the subject, and check up on them regularly. The only avenues that would come close to working is 1) banning all porn, and 2) making free porn illegal.

You spent a lot more time thinking about my comment than i did when I wrote it.  😏

Also, I think there are varying degrees of ****ing around and varying degrees of finding out.

    - Considering I spent about 12 seconds thinking about it, I would say that's probably accurate lol...

    - Videotaping yourself killing and torturing kittens, posting those videos online, and then murdering an innocent man isn't on the top 100,000 Ways To **** Around list lol...

It's a reference to the **** around and find out meme.

I know lol...but she also said:

    1. Elon could have watched the "Don't **** With Cats" documentary to see how much people on the internet can hate you without him having to "**** around" first

    Or...

    2. Elon could have watched the "Don't **** With Cats" documentary to see how much people on the internet can hate you even if you didn't "**** around" first

    And...

    3. The people in the "Don't **** With Cats" documentary did what they did because they hated the guy who tortured and killed kittens on video and posted tose videos online

    4. The man who tortured and killed kittens online--and then killed an innocent man later--was simply "****ing around"

    I said "What?" because:

    - If she meant either 1 or 2, Elon's not gonna relate his actions to that of someone torturing and killing kittens online (nor should he), so him watching that documentary wouldn't have made any difference

    - The movie wasn't about people on the internet "hating" someone, it was about people wanting to see justice served and stop any further atrocities

    - The "**** around" part of "**** around and find out" does not include torture and murder...that is in no way "****ing around" lol...

I’m not exactly following it so I’m only working off the cnn article, but, doj says there’s issues with witnesses and I’m guessing overall they’re not satisfied with the evidence they have.

Is there something we have as proof that this is Gaetz getting away with something because of who he is? Or does it just fit the desired narrative well?

It was said several weeks (months?) ago that some respected attorneys were telling decision-makers in the DoJ not to press forward with charging Gaetz due to the low "quality" of their witnesses...I was assuming that basically meant something like:

    1. How believable are they

    2. How willing would your average juror be in believing them over Gaetz (because all of them would have to be to get a conviction)

    3. How much baggage do the witnesses bring with them on the witness stand that a good defense could rip to shreds

    4. How much evidence is there that doesn't rely upon the testimony of these witnesses

    5. Is there a likelihood that you can build a stronger case and still charge him down the road

I remember hoping points 1 and 4 were strong enough to overcome any hesitations. I guess not.
