I don’t think he’s a bust but I had my doubts about him as anything close to a generational talent. He was shut down far too often in college against nfl caliber linemen. 

Maybe we need a new d line coach. Young and Sweat have massively regressed. 

What will it take to send del Rio packing?  The guy just has absolutely no clue what he’s doing. Zero. Nada.

We cant stop 3rd and long or convert 3rd and short.  A good microcosm for this franchise.

Yeah it's clearly a combo, but the scheme exploits our weaknesses rather than covering up for them. 

Our defensive scheme is atrocious.  Del Rio must go.  I've seen enough.  The LB play makes us completely reactive--the soft zones, etc.  This is not an attaching defense and it should be.  Really and truly unacceptable.

Like a hot knife through butter.  We ask our linebackers to react rather than play down hill.  Makes them completely ineffective.

Lol Holcomb.  Just awful.  The scheme and the players--our Linebackers are just clueless.

Have to blitz on third and long and make these QBs get rid of the ball.

Unreal--don't understand how it can be that easy on third and 15.

Yeah when he moved Curl up to the line.  Davis needs to play weak side and get up to speed.  Playing him right now at MLB is a mistake.

5. Taylor Heinike has his ups and downs, but it mostly up. 340 yards passing and 2tds. He and the offense are the main reason we won. Not the defense.

 

6. Hopkins was clutch in the end.

Agree with all of this except the last one.  Hopkins is not clutch.  He consistently crumbles under pressure.  He did it again tonight.  Got bailed out by one of the worst penalties you will ever see.
