Some states waited several more months to ask the federal government for their share.

 

Cities sometimes delayed decisions while soliciting suggestions from the public. And some government officials — still trying to figure out how to spend previous rounds of federal pandemic aid — simply didn’t see an urgent need for the additional cash.

I work for a school system that received aid and the restrictions on spending it are so onerous that not much gets spent. 

Once they passed the infrastructure bill the other was doomed.  No chance it passes now.  

Got my booster today. So far no arm pain or anything. Last time felt like a horse kicked me in the arm.

Pretty sure they are convinced that once this was part was passed that the Republican sympathizers would end up scuttling the other bill. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if they were right. That’s why they wanted it done in the other order. 

I used to shoot in IPSEC pistol combinations in my 20’s. But hadn’t really touched a gun for over 20 years. So when I decided to get a concealed permit found s course that was 2 days 4 hours each with a range hour at the end.  Was pretty good.  Brought in cops and a lawyer and went ove lots of situations.  But I could have just done an online thing and been done with it. You get what you pay for. 

I’ve got a Barrel Pick of Blantons waiting for me when I get time to pick it up.

Aldi had a special on all the Wahlburgers stuff this week.  Burger patties, bacon, pickles, Wahl sauce.  The son wanted to try it so I picked it all up and put this together this evening.  

I gotta say I’m a fan of the Wahlbugers hamburger. Surprised me.

It’s pretty much mostly what I drink now.  Being able to help pick makes it easier too.  Plus I think we all know how tight Skinsfan1311 is, and he buys a lot of these. 

We had a ransomware attack where I used to work. It was identified quickly and the system was shut down. The server was rebuilt from a backup the night before.  We lost about 3 hours of work/data.
