  1. I swear I’m never going to let my Dallas fan friends live it down if we somehow win this game lol
  2. How can there be this many Dallas fans in Washington D.C? Never ceases to amaze me.
  3. When it’s all said and done, hopefully early Monday morning, Ron Rivera will be able to make a lot of excuses in the months and years ahead about why things failed here. A lot of people especially nationally will give them credence, and even I do to some extent. Snyder’s issues, the name change, a subsequent rebrand that has polarized the fanbase, COVID, and his cancer diagnosis all occurring during his tenure here did him no favors. Winning in the NFL is hard enough without having to face all that additional adversity. I do believe he is a good man and I wish him well when it’s official. I am VERY excited for what the future holds. I do not believe in “coach centric” and modeling our operations on the Ravens is music to my ears.
  4. We lose…big, and this dreadful season finally comes to an end.
  5. The defense will have no answer for an angry 49ers offense. They score at will until they decide to stop. Us - 28 (with 14 of that when the game is completely out of reach) Them - 55
  6. When the clock strikes zero against Dallas I will break out the Farmer Fran gif even if we lose 64-7.
  7. Everyone knows it’s over. If we could somehow fast forward to the end that would be great. These last 3 games are going to be BRUTAL.
  8. Imagine that in D.C. lol I don't have anything particularly meaningful to add to the conversation right now...so I will just keep liking the posts the rest of you make until I do. 😁
  9. I don’t know, but it’s not my (our) responsibility to figure that out. Bottom line, if they want butts in seats to justify their 6 billion dollar investment they have to figure out how to get people to go and be willing to pay more to do it. First rule of customer service. Give the customer what they want.
  10. Would be nice if we had a new brand and set up that attracted fans of other teams who live in the DMV to change up. A lot of Ravens fans over the age of 30 were fans of the Redskins or some other NFL team before they came here. Like it or not most people are casual fans unlike us. We are the lifers. They need to create an atmosphere and game day experience in D.C. where the live experience exceeds the T.V. one. Make people want to be there in person. Winning is key, but that’s not the only thing. Make something so cool that people are excited to be a part of it. Something where even if you spend several hundred dollars for tickets and we lose…you still had a pretty cool experience overall. I want the Camden Yards or Nats Park of Football stadiums.
  11. I don't know about the rest of you, but it really does hurt my soul to see the state of current affairs. I could have bought tickets to yesterday's game. I just couldn't bring myself to do it knowing what was coming, and they did not surprise me. I can live with a losing season, and even a couple of them. I will never stop supporting the team, but it feels idiotic at this point to actually pay to watch this team play in person. If they pulled them off the TV due to lack of attendance, I don't even think I would care at this point. I've said it before in other threads, but I will say it again in this one...it truly is unreal how far this once mighty and proud franchise has fallen. I swear it was almost like Snyder was a sleeper cell sent in by the NFL to obliterate this franchise, no matter how long it took. The Ravens who play just up 95 have been as well run a franchise in that time span as any in the NFL. They are everything we once were. I know we have new owners and we are about to clean house, so all you can do is hope for the best. They can't be any worse.
  12. There was a time, many moons ago, when that was exactly what an “off year” looked like in D.C.
  13. The Mike Shanahan era could and should have set this team up for a decade. The amount of talent that was squandered from those years is nothing short of mind-boggling. I put the lion’s share of its failure on Snyder.
  14. Yup, right now nothing is certain other than an avalanche of change is coming.
