  1. nevermind someone helped me out,. Roller (sp?) just put on a JJ clinic.
  2. Not sure if this has been posted: http://mmafrenzy.com/14159/wec-lightweight-division-will-eventually-merge-with-ufc/ Ben Henderson/Donald Cerrone vs BJ Penn?
  3. While that sucks it's understandable. One, he exaggerated the knee with a wind up so that it attracted so much attention the down fighter saw it coming and the ref couldn't miss it. The fighter in dodging it made it impossible to know in real time if his head kicked back to avoid or because it took a shot. Lesson: Don't throw knee bombs at a guy that is obviously in a position making them illegal. Aldo is one of the fastest strikers I've ever seen in MMA. The guy is fast enough to use leg kicks as counters to both punches and kicks, landing them before the strike he is countering reaches him and often knocking his opponent off their feet. That's is crazy quickness when you can react to an attack and land yours first. Having said that Faber is the perfect foil... he's a power fighter that can take you to the ground and pound you out. He's not some bum that will simply attempt a take down either, he's damn good and stronger than his size would suggest. It will be interesting... I'm going with Aldo on this one. The guy is the latest crazied brazilian hell bent on kicking the worlds ass one victim at a time. There must be something in the water over there.

  5. I'm sad that I missed Mir lose his lunch money. I was at a friends party last night and couldn't watch it... should have walked across the street to Summers. bleh
  6. Bones Jones and those crazy long arms are hard to deal with. 84.5 inches is what it says on wiki.
  7. What you have now is guys that are obviously different weight classes fighting (see the before mentioned Maynard fight). I'm saying they should be in the weight classes they naturally belong in. ie if you walk around and train at 180 you are 180.
  8. There shouldn't be any weight cuts at all prior to a fight. The fight weight should be an average weight taken the month (yes month) prior to the fight. Cutting weight is extremely unhealthy and makes for some ridiculous looking fights when fighters are caught over doing it and can barely move around from such extreme loss.
  9. I don't know why but that **** is cracking me up.
  10. http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=264880&title=video-breakdown-pantsed-on-the Guy gets pantsed on the subway after scaring a woman... hilarious.
  11. You realize that no matter how old they get he will NEVER live down that moment. They will be 75 and they'll be like "remember that time you made out with a dude?!" hahahaha
  12. Looks fake to me. He's on his toes reaching with some of those right hooks and his adversary's are falling down like card board cut outs and not returning fire... nor do they even look angry/scared.
  13. That how to report the news video is great! haha
  14. That dude went Hulk about those paperclips. HULK SMASH!!!
  15. It would be better if all of the animals other than the bear and the tiger were dead and the two remaining animals were posturing up to fight. Rabbits and pigs have no place battling tigers and bears.
  16. Like I've said previously there is a reason Olympic testing is random and they don't tell the athlete's when the limits are. With the amounts of money at stake I'm sure chemicals can be dosed to clear testing times if the athletes knew then in advance. Also 14 days prefight is plenty of time to recover "strength" lost by a tiny blood sample. An hour would be enough.
  17. The Baseball defense ladies and gentlemen. He never failed a test! Remember that? Maybe I'm jaded but when athletes start ducking tests I feel like I've been down this road before. Let's get one thing straight here. He turned down the biggest payday of his career just because he didn't like he drug testing proposed.
  18. Who doesn't feel weak when they have to cut back on the roids to take a drug test? They aren't taking pints of blood man, it's a sample. Thousands of athletes do this all the time. Floyd was even willing to give him 14 days instead of just plain random, but apparently that isn't enough time to flush the HGH and roids out of his system and still show up strong enough.
  19. Which is all well and dandy... well except for one thing. Why is Olympic style testing a deal breaker for Manny?
  20. He didn't agree to the testing. In fact he never agreed to random testing at all. What he did was try to put a schedule on random testing. They never got past that first obstacle so the random aspect of it was never even open for discussion. True random Olympic testing is right up to the day of the event, Floyd's camp was willing to bend to 14 days (something the Olympics would NEVER agree too because it allows cheating). You keep trying to make this seem like Floyd wouldn't negotiate but you're facts are off. They went from pure Olympic style which is to say no dates told to the fighters at all to 14 days which completely weakens the results. That is the very essence of compromise. Pacman however wanted no part of it. He wanted a month to juice and flush with the fight taking place in that period of time. This is the same crap baseball players wanted. When they got nailed with random testing... oh my the wonders we found out. You can't have a reliable SCHEDULED test. 14 days would at least disrupt the juicing window and even that was too much to ask.
  21. The most corrupt sport on the planet. Not the Olympics. I already knew that.
  22. I don't care if Floyd wanted the fight or not. The reality is simple. The only thing Pacman had to do to get in the ring with Mayweather was agree to more rigorous testing. Let's say you are right on all counts. Mayweather wanted no part of this fight. Does that change the fact that the only thing Pacman had to do to have this fight take place was agree to random, unscheduled, testing? No. That stopped the might Pacman in his tracks and sent him running. You see how fast he scheduled another fight? He wants no part of this and he wants to get this idea of testing out of the press as quickly as possible. Let's agree Floyd Mayweather is a gutless weasel. Pacman still blinked at the idea of random testing and his camp was declaring the fight dead EARLY in the discussions upon seeing that demand from Mayweather. They wanted no part of it.
  23. Would he fight him if Clotty had insisted on Olympic drug testing? The answer my friends, is no.
