Daniels, Sinnot and Newton are almost guaranteed to see significant time. Sainistril will see some time but he’s playing in a logjammed position so that’ll take a bit more creativity. I think Coleman is going to start at some point… because our tackle situation is that bad. The others are projects/specs guys. No. They aren’t.

I was being facetious. Got in a kerfuffle a few pages back because I suggested we take Rattler (or Pratt) so we can get rid of Mariota ASAP and have the backup on a rookie deal.

Yeah there are some guys left that are intriguing. Johnny Wilson is hanging out there. I didn't like his tape but if he transitions to a true Y that's a lot of value. Wonder if something is wrong with him. Is Christian Jones still there? Been paying half attention the last 30 minutes. Kamara is a major value now.

I wouldn't mind Pratt. I kind of liked his game.

It's a moot point now, but just to point out: The last time we drafted a small framed athletic QB at 2, we also drafted another QB. That worked out quite well. Also when SF drafted a inexperienced athletic QB, they also drafted a second QB. It's business. And it's good business, imo of course. Just make sure both QBs know the lay of the land. Daniels is the guy they drafted to be the guy. The other is the guy they drafted as a backup and with the hope they have a great problem with two starting caliber QBs.

I disagree completely. You need QBs and Mariota stinks having Rattler in place on a rookie deal would be good business. Mariota can kick rocks after this year.

Christian Jones is still my top available target. I don’t think there’s a chance he falls to us, though. Stover. Estime. Allen. Lots of talent available. I’m half paying attention… Trotter Jr is still out there too, isn’t he?

Sure we do. I choose to trust his vision because I see he has a plan and he’s executing it. I don’t agree with every move but I see his goal and now he’s working towards it and I respect the hell out of it. Doesnt mean we have to believe in his every individual move. I believe in his mission. Don’t believe in every move without question like so many imply we have to. It’s okay to ask questions or not understand. But, there are a lot of people who trust him without doing any research themselves and don’t think anyone should have varying points of view. To the contrary, though, there are also some here who distrust everything he does because of the past which is just as ridiculous. Peters is doing great, imo. But it’s okay to discuss.
