I like the deal for Burks but not a fan of any other move.
Man, I wish it was Alec Burks.

Wade has nothing left to prove in Miami, if he really wants to cash in I'm all for it. I'd love to see him end up on the Bucks or Nuggets, if only because it's becoming really entertaining to watch Cuban strike out every year.

RT @WojVerticalNBA Free agent forward Evan Turner has reached agreement on a four-year, $75M deal with Portland, agent Kevin Bradbury tells @TheVertical.
Right after Parsons turned them down for Memphis. This is a crazy time to be alive.

Dwyane Wade's initial contract discussions with the Miami Heat have not produced a common ground between the parties, and he is preparing to field outside offers when free agency opens Friday, according to league sources.
Sources told ESPN.com that Wade's representatives have made it known to multiple teams over the past several days that he will be on the market. Some teams have been skeptical, wondering whether Wade would seriously consider leaving the franchise where he has played 13 seasons and won three titlesI seriously doubt this happens, but if it does AND Whiteside leaves along with Bosh coming back, I almost would feel for the Heat. Last year was a hell of a tease for that fanbase if this really does all fall apart.

Pacers got Thaddeus Young for the 20th pick. Adding him and Teague, Indy is going to be a nuisance next year.

The city of Cleveland is 1-0 in championship series since Robert Griffin signed with the Browns.

Zach Snyder shot down the idea of making Gustin the movie Flash because the show didn't have the right "tone" for his emoverse so I doubt he'd want Cavill to end up in a place where the character can actually enjoy himself. Why wouldn't they just use Cavill for continuity if they ever pull these CW characters into the movie?
Tom Welling would be the best choice. But as mentioned, in Smallville his Kara already was there before he was Superman, not the other way around. So they most likely won't cast him.
Based on the casting decisions these shows have made I guess Welling could always be Jor-El.

SUPERMAN WILL BE INTRODUCED IN SUPERGIRL: SEASON 2
The Man of Steel won't be staying in the shadows any longer on Supergirl, as Superman himself will be introduced in Season 2 of the DC Comics-based series. Clark Kent/Superman will appear in the first two episodes of Supergirl: Season 2, as the show moves to the CW in the fall, and casting is currently underway for a new TV incarnation of the iconic superhero.
Said executive producer Andrew Kriesberg, in a statement, "Greg [berlanti], Ali [Adler[ and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl. Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!"
I figured they'd eventually cave and bring him into the universe properly.

That's cold as ice.
I don't post often these days, but when I do I try to make it count.

There are several guys who are shaky in Golden State's regular rotation. Their top end's quality and balance and chemistry is what's powering them to greatness and covering up for the low quality in the bottom half of the rotation.... Livingston is an average back up PG who prolonged his NBA career after many stops by finding his way onto a dominant team. Same for Barbosa except he's a third string PG at this point. And even thought Predicto keeps using Bill Wennington and Luc Longley as an indictement of both that Bulls team and the state of the NBA in general in the mid 90's, Andrew Bogut is a scrub who couldn't play anywhere near as big a role for any other team. He's Golden State's Wennington/Longley and provides nothing on offense that couldn't also be provided by a large barrel placed at the elbow.
I made a mental note to file this one away and play it at the right moment.
This was that moment.

RT @UPROXXSPORTS UPDATE: #Pelicans wing Bryce Dejean-Jones died from a gunshot wound to the abdomen https://t.co/lAtUqnPz1shttps://t.co/mcLmVVQLma
Kid balled out for the Zombie Pelicans at the end of the year. Even if it was under unfortunate circumstances, what a tragedy.

If the reports that Joerger was still actively looking for another gig like he tried with Minnesota a couple years back are true, then I can understand the Grizzlies wanting to move on.

I can't remember the exact stat, but if I remember correctly the Heat were actually better defensively with Whiteside OFF the floor.
Post All-Star break I'm pretty sure all the metrics swug in his favor. He was a monster down the stretch.
Won me my fantasy league as well, so I'm biased.

I find it hard to believe he'll be himself the rest of these playoffs
I actually find it exceedingly easy to believe he'll be himself for the rest of the playoffs.

My fingernails are chewed down to the nub waiting for the MRI results on Steph.
Well wait no longer:

@WojVerticalNBA Vertical Sources: Steph Curry's MRI on knee has returned negative, no damage, a Grade 1 sprain. Could miss two weeks.

I love a good Lin takeover game, Charlotte has been really fun to watch this past month.

Mardsen was canned because he took a role as a tertiary character in one of the superman movies years back while Xmen was about to film. I believe the director took offense that he was doing both DC and Marvel stuff.
You mean the Superman movie directed by Bryan Singer? Because I can think of more than a couple reasons that wouldn't make sense, then again the guy making that decision during X3 would have Brent Ratner, which actually makes total sense.

Childhood ruined!
No, it wasn't.

Kanter shrugged as the thing started going down. Still processing what I just witnessed.

FOX spent a decade betting against this movie, so they better back a dumptruck full of money onto Reynolds driveway to reward his patience.

Tom Cavanagh AKA Reverse Flash was on Team Canada, should have put Grant Gustin on USA just for the hell of it.The celebrity game has lower grade celebs than a MTV reality show.
Someone needs to save this event. Next year they need to have marvel vs DC or something that has a promotional component for upcoming shows or movies that gets people to show up.
*Fun Fact for those who rightfully chose not to watch this* Tom Cavanagh is Adam Silver's brother-in-law.

Hopefully Blatt's next NBA gig will be with a team where he can actually implement his system.

Wonder will their be any more changes? Which team hires a coach first?
The answer looks like the Dolphins with Adam Gase, which I think is a bad move. If you want a "QB Guru" on your staff don't hire him to a position where he can't give single-minded focus on developing the QB.

I know it makes the most financial sense but this is the only part of this I got wrong, since he said he didn't wanna go through this 2 years in a row. I guess he doesn't have to but I still thought he'd sign for 5.
Has any star outside of Melo stayed with his current franchise after meeting with that many teams? Once I saw the long list of suitors I knew he wasn't coming back. Only was a matter of who'd convince him.
