Came to this thread, to say what a terrible return the Wizards got.  Read some posts, and I'm still saying the same thing.  The only difference is that now I have a better understanding of why the Wizards got hosed (if that's how you spell it) in this deal.  Hopefully, Paul's trade will get a better return for the Wizards! Hopefully a 1st round pick in return (wishful thinking I know).

Could this mean this scandal (blackmail or whatever this is) is the end of Berhalter being the coach of US National team.  According to ESPN, Zinedine Zidane declined USSF approach to be their new coach for the US National Team.

That said, I think 2 G’s is too stained to remain as USMNT manager. It is my belief that there is plenty of talent in this squad, but Greggie isn’t the guy to take them to the heights they hope to get to. My biggest complaint with him is trying to fit pieces into his system, instead of fitting his system to his best pieces.

 

I think this is sour grapes from the Reynas, a family that is as close to Berhalter as anyone, but I think US Soccer can do much better than 2 G’s, and would not be sad to see him go.

I forgot who said this on ESPN but one of the soccer analyses said that there is no way the USSF would resign Berhalter after this.

Argentina is lucky they are not a man down.  What a great goal by the Netherlands, and dumb penalty to give up that late.  I hope Argentina win, but the Dutch has the momentum at the moment.  If they go to PK, the Netherlands goal keeper is 6'8!

Well I am screwed this week!  With all the waiver moves I did, I was hoping that I wouldn't multiple players with the same bye week.  Should I release Patterson for Gus Edwards, or Knight from the Jets.  Or just put one of my TE as my flex option (my TE are not good).  If you are asking me to put a WR, I can't put a WR, in the flex because 2 of my WR are on bye week as well.  I went from being 7-3 to 7-6.

Can someone tell me how the Padres are able to afford all of these players.. Machado, Tatis, Soto, and now Boegarts?  I'm starting to think that the cartel is funding the Padres owner (jk). 

With all of these contracts (not saying they don't deserve it) but should MLB implement a salary cap. 

Welp. Need more than 22 points tonight by Kamara and Lutz!!! Hoping for a nice high scoring game by the Saints tonight.

I walked by Ovechkin, Backstrom and Semin at the theaters on time.  However, one person well known I have met is Luis Enriue Mejia.  Famous person who I want to meet Pedro Pascal.

These games showed the Wright (even though he scored today) Ferreira, Morris should have never been selected to this team. 

Curious of what substitution going to happen next half.

I felt we played a good game today. We had 7 corners, and if it wasn't for McGuire (wished he played like this with United) we would have converted one of them for a goal.  I wondering what formation we bring out for the Iran game?   Think this type of game where Reyna should start over Wright and Sargent! 

Im seriously debating starting Garappolo than Herbert this week because my opponent has Deebo on his team.  So in theory if Deebo gets points, I do too (if its not a rushing attempt).  Good strategy or no.  Lately Herbet hasn't been producing for the past few weeks due to his 2 starting WR are hurt.  Chargers is playing the Chiefs and 49ers is playing the Cardinals. 

Typical, just plain typical. 

I know I am not going to win every game, but to lose like this stings really bad.   Sometimes I just hate fantasy football

Deep team, and been fielding offers from guys with less depth. I’m nervous about my early season while I wait to see what’s up with Waddle, Thomas, Dobbins, Dillon split, Javonte split, etc etc. 

You have a solid team! Your strongest group is your WR, Going to be hard deciding which 4 to play (Just realizee you get to start 2 flex) The only thing i'll be worried about is the split of touches of your RB.

Its a 12-team league, the only time I'll start Carr, and the Chargers def (if i don't drop them)  in on bye weeks.

Great question! I don't really understand why we need 3qb in the roster.  However, other than the obvious reason is the bye week.  Our league does have defensive positions too.
