Sad day for the fanbase and Backstrom and the club.  Would have been appropriate if/when Ovechkin breaks the record he would be either on the ice or him being the one who has the assist. Hope for a speedy recovery, and hope its not the end of his career!

I'm sure Howell is not in favor of this move.  Will be seeing the 49ers in week 17!

If you approve this trade.  Would you have to release a player since you are receiving two players? Your RB crew is decent.  However, if Stroud keeps doing what he is doing I think that will give Pierce more chances.   I think you will end up losing points in trading away Kupp.  I don't think I would take this trade.  

I think this year I made some stupid decisions.  Had the opportunity to pick up either  Swift and Zach Moss on the free agency list. Opted to pick up Jonathan Taylor to ride the bench for a couple of weeks.

Since he is back would you start him and who would you bench?  Jacobs, Brian Robinson Jr, or Mattison.  Usually, I put an RB in the flex position.

Does anyone know what happened to Deebo Samuel last week? Did he get hurt in the game? He was questionable throughout the week but he was listed to play. Got no catches last week. 

Man, I made a stupid move I dropped Nico Collins two weeks ago and then he had a massive game last week. Ironically he is on my waiver claim. Doubt I'm going to get him since I'm the back end of the wire list. 

I was lucky to win last week. Barely. Mahomes almost screwed me when he stopped before the touchdown.

So close, but I don't blame them for not reversing the call.  However, soccer uses VAR where they can draw a line to see if a player is offside to the T.  I can see that it is beneficial to have some sort of technology for those close calls that involve the sidelines.  

I was up by 30 points before the Sunday Night Football game with Jacobs still left to play.  He still had Devonte Adams and the TB kicker left to play. Felt confident that I had a great chance to win until I saw that Adams got 31 fantasy points and Jacobs only 10.  Now I'm only up by 8 points. Made some stupid moves on who to start which could cost me the week.

I already know my WR crew is not the greatest.  Deebo Samuel already has played and now Waddle is inactive (concussion).  I picked up Nico Collins from the Texans this week.  He has had two good first two games.  So would you start Nico Collins vs. the Jags or Michael Pittman Jr. against Baltimore? I'm leaning toward starting Nico Collins because Baltimore has a better defense than Baltimore.

True, I guess the NHL has implemented the philosophy of that third time's a charm! However, it is hypothetical since the expansion of the NHL is not in the plans.  

I don't understand why they would try to make a third attempt to bring an expansion team back to Atlanta.  Some other markets should get an opportunity for a team. Quebec or even Hartford!

I was in high school when the tragic events happened.  I don't recall any faculty telling the students what happened.  I didn't have a cell phone throughout high school so I didn't find out until I got home.

I like your RBs.  I think your WRs are okay, not great.  You should be set at TE, and may have a trade chip if Ertz works out by midseason. 

I guess the way my league is set up I had to draft two other QBs (I waited until later rounds to pick up Jones an Pickett).  Not planning to start Jones or Pickett throughout the season (Barring injuries) except the by week.  There are roster limits for my league I am only allowed to pick 4 rb and wr.  I'm regretting not picking up Metcalf. The reason why I chose Deebo was because they use him in some cases in the running game.   I see Odell in the FA pool waiting to be claimed, I'm thinking of releasing Pittman for Odel.  

Don't know if I like or hate my team.  I tend to do better if I just let the computer draft for me.

Def: Steelers, Dolphins

Definitely going to keep an eye on the FA list throughout the season.

Southern Virginia is getting two Buc-ees in 2027 and such.  Imagine them opening up in Northern Virginia.  I know Sheetz and Wawa not going to be happy!

I stopped watching the game once Van Dijik got the red card thinking the game was done lol.  I'm a Man United fan and I was happy to see that red card and the possbility of Liverpool to lose.

If I'm stingy regarding my money, imagine me playing with fake money.  I don't think I would draft a good team!  The only thing I have done is snake draft.  However, I am willing to try if the consensus was to do an Auction draft.

Honestly, I am glad that we didn't get Verlander even if he waived his NTC.  Giving up the farm for a 40-year-old pitcher on a 2-year deal is not worth it.  I know Verlander is a great pitcher, but imagine who would the Mets want in return. My guess is either Rodriguez, Kjeristad, or Holliday with another player(s) included.  

Currently watching Furbar with Arnold  Schwarzenegger on Netflix.  It's one of those shows where you have nothing to watch and want to watch a series.  It's a good show with some humorous parts of the show.  If that's doesn't intrigue you, the lead female character is gorgeous so something to look at while watching the show.

Sorry if this has been discussed already. What is with these crazy contracts?  Brooks, VanVleet, Sabonis (good player but $215 million dollar extension for 5 years) This is kind of reminding me of free agency in Baseball.  

Did anyone watch the first episode of Secret Invasion?  OverallI thought it was a good episode.
