Guys, I actually am surprised by this, mostly because Haley has absolutely nothing to gain from this move. Now, I can't **** on polling and then point to polling, but exit polling showed that a lot of Haley voter wouldn't vote for Trump under any circumstance. She took the biggest bump she's ever had in her political career, a bump she gained from going after Trump, then turned tail, bent the knee and kissed the ring. She might have life or a chance within the GOP party, but voters don't like a flip flopper and she's already a notorious one. She pulled the biggest, most pathetic flop for a regime that may not even be around in six months. Short sighted, cowardly and stupid, that is was Nikki Haley will be remembered as from now on.

No goper candidate who isn’t supporting Trump has a future at the moment; do its no surprise she said she will vote for him.  Trump has a solid grip on the gop and will until he drops dead. Even if he loses, he will still

    hold sway over the gop.

  2. Until you see benefits of us having a real nfl front office, it’s going take time.

So many are already predicting 10-11 wins and playoffs and if that doesn’t happen, they will be angry.

It’s going take 3-4 years to build us up into a real contending team.

Look at Detroit.  We can have a similar turnaround. The difference is we drafted our qb and they traded for theirs.

Josh spent 6 Billion. He knows there’s untapped goldmine there once we are winning regularly again. To get there, we have to have a top notch front office. Does that mean we won’t make mistakes, of course. We will have a strong front office to rebound from mistakes they make.

It’s going take a while to completely shake the 23 year Snyder trauma.

1/12: Wild Card 7th Seed: Lose playoff game

Best Case: An up and down season but we do well enough that we earn the 7th seed with a 9-8 record but lose the wild card playoff game.

More than likely we finish somewhere in between with 7-10/8-9 record.

I'll be real curious how two people linked to our head coaching search, Mike MacDonald and Raheem Morris do this season.

Same with Drake Maye and Sam Howell.

Don’t really care how Mike or Raheem does; as long as we beat them though Raheem might beat us this year.  Will Raheem do well enough with Kirk to make it when Michael likely takes over in 2026?

As for Sam, he’s just a backup until they decide to move on from Geno.  Once that happens, he will get his second chance.  As for Drake, wish him well. Actually, it would be nice if all 6 qbs drafted in the first round hit. That would be a nice infusion of talent and give the nfl more stars at qb.

I think we plenty to watch on our own with Jayden and DQ in his second stint.

    • Thumb up 1
  6. Another thing that would be good, Jayden can learn if the WR room this year isn’t the best. He can learn to try elevate his play and the play of the WRs.

Patrick Mahomes didn’t have that great of a wr room last year but he managed well enough and the Chiefs were still

    able to win it all.

The Chiefs determined the WR room still had a hole and addressed it in the draft. If we determine after the season our WR still has a hole, we will then address next year. Either in free agency or trading for a player or in the draft. We took a WR in the draft and signed one in free agency. Let’s see if they work out. See if Dotson can bounce back.

I gave up on it after a feew episodes of S1 originally back in the day. Is it all camp? Or it is more of a solid x-files lite type of stuff?

Looks like S2 of Outer Range is out now. Anyone watch it?

    Mixture of X-Files camp.

Even though it was canceled, the got 4 more episodes to finish the story; which they probably are filming now.

Saying our offensive skill players are just as good as Chicago's is an outrageous overestimation of our surrounding talent.  Maybe our backs are kind of close, but almost anyone would take Swift/Herbert/Roschon over our three guys.  TE is not a good position for us next year unless Sinnott breaks out way earlier than TEs typically do.  And everyone would take Odunze/Moore/Allen over McLaurin/Dotson/McCaffrey.  Their third guy is probably better than Terry.  Beyond that, their OL is way better than ours too, with high end tackles and guards that have already been together and were the second best OL behind Philly in block win rates last year.  Set aside the question of who is better between Jayden and Caleb, there is no question that the Bears have a better surrounding roster.  I think people have assumed that Caleb is walking into this terrible situation because his coach might be a lame duck.  But I think it's more likely that they saved the coaching staff by pulling in one of the prospects of the decade, and that their roster is already built up and looks like a future power team.  The biggest thing working against them is the quality of their division, but ours isn't a cake walk either.

This reminds me of 2012 when everyone underestimated the quality of the Colts roster surrounding Luck, and overestimated ours.  We seemed to be right there with them for one year, mainly because RGIII individually outplayed Luck that one season, and Morris was special in that system and situation.  But it quickly became very apparent that the Colts roster was much better than ours.  Expectations for Jayden's rookie year are getting set too high.  We have a ton of building on offense left to do.

TBH most of Rob Rang's picks felt like edgy, inaccurate takes.  Nabers is walking into the worst situation of all of the WRs taken in the top 34 picks.  There is no world where Cade Stover ends up being better than Brock Bowers, I don't care who is throwing them the ball.  They weren't even remotely close in college and that was with CJ Stroud and Stetson Bennett as the QBs in question.  Fashanu over Latham and Alt is putting a lot of unwarranted trust in the Jets.  And I like Corum way more than Benson for multiple reasons.  Kyren Williams is easier to compete with for touches than James Conner, McVay is a way better coach than Gannon, and that Rams offense is stacked compared to Arizona's, especially the passing game.  Corum will get to play complimentary football for a Superbowl contender.  Haynes as the top guard feels more justifiable, but even still, JPJ is the clear choice.  Beebe at center for Dallas probably ends up being right though.  It's interesting that they moved him to that position.  Kind of feels like an even better fit for him than Guard, and that he can compete with Linderbaum and Humphrey for All Pro selections.  Dallas is getting perilously close to one seed territory.  I don't understand how they can afford to keep such a stacked roster together.

1 seed for Dallas, more like 6 or 7 or even missing the playoffs.

Dallas can’t pay Dak, Micah and Cee Dee and likely one of them not returning in 25.

I think you missed my point. We are now past the draft and there have been relatively few hires announced but there have been many people being let go.

At this point in the offseason, I'd like to see Peters focus on hires so I'm hoping they come soon. And that many reinforcements are on the way!

It’s May 18. College Scouts have nothing to do until end of August. AP will have the new scouts hired and ready by the time season starts.

There’s plenty of time to get people in place.

  10. If Jayden is the real deal, he’ll be fine with the WR room we have. He’ll make them better.

Next year we can make moves if we need to, if the WR fail to perform,

The only position we should trade any picks for this year is OT.
