They gonna pull up Bush v. Gore (which specifically stated that it cannot be used as precedent) and declare that its too late to rule on the case, because of a deadline that isn't actually a deadline?

Russia says it will strike British targets if UK weapons are used to hit its territory
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday that Moscow will retaliate with strikes on British targets if British weapons are used by Ukraine to strike Russian territory.
Zakharova told reporters that British targets "on Ukraine's territory and beyond its borders" could be hit in such a scenario.
She was repeating a warning that Moscow first issued earlier this month after British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said Ukraine had a right to use weapons provided by London to hit targets inside Russia.

Just saying, I'm not at all sure that flags at Alito's house ought to be grounds for impeachment.
I think judges ought to be allowed to express political opinions. Especially when they're at home.
Although I could see an argument that he needs to recuse himself from the question of whether supporting an insurection disqualifies one from federal office.

The first proposal for a replacement bridge sees a wider span and improved clearance height to minimize the chance of collision
My money is they want the opening to be bigger, so they can have even bigger (and more dangerous) boats.

As opposed to the FBI's normal policy of not being allowed to use deadly force when necessary to execute a search warrant.

Kremlin TV Drops ‘New’ Tucker Carlson Show
I'm reluctant to click the link.
But what I'm wondering is - does the Russian show accurately show what Tucker is saying on his show?

The US Constitution states that "No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice . . . " And if Trump won the 2020 election, then he's already been elected twice.

I suspect Trump doesn't sue. Espeiclly since he already has a civil ruling of already sexually assaulting someone.
Discovery is a ****.
I absolutely expect him to sue. And appeal and delay and appeal.
Until the day before he's ordered to testify under oath. Then he will drop the charges.

I'm also thinking of the chance of the jury not convicting, based on the nature of the charge.
I mean, I think he's accused of
1) Having sex with a porn star.
2) Paying her to keep quiet about it.
3) And trying to not have a money trail.
Out of all the things Trump has done, they're wanting a criminal conviction for this?

Of course they're allowed. It's just that many prosecuting and defending attorneys don't like them on juries and will exclude them.
Lawyers don't want to be second guessed on their tactical legal decisions, especially by a juror.
Eh. I thought that lawyers, and cops, were excluded.
I'd assumed it was because so much of a courtroom consists of arguing over "which parts of the truth do we need to hide from the jury?" (I assume that my phrasing reveals how I feel about it, in general). And that people like lawyers know the system well enough that they can tell (or at least speculate) about the things that weren't in the courtroom.

I didn't think lawyers were allowed on juries.
And the Trump NYC trial has two?

Was watching one the other day and thought to myself - why are they allowed to do this?
your doctor should be the one pitching medication to you, as needed.
people googling medical advise and using commercials to demand things from their doctors is ass backwards.
Been thinking that for a few decades. At least for prescription medications.
To me, the reason the drug needs a prescription is because nobody but a doctor can decide if it's right for you.
Maybe I'd be OK with advertising like "if you have collywobbles, there's anew medication out. Ask your doctor about it."

We already have US senators that went threatening letters about this.
Oh, I'm pretty sure there will be a show vote, to expell the UN from the US.
The Republicans love to threaten that, every few years.

The first time I heard the phrase "gaffe machine" was in reference to Joe Biden. And I'd estimate it was in the 80's?
