Hamas should surrender. I’m sure if the leaders of Hamas were to turn themselves in (to the ICC for example, where they could have a fair trial) there would be no assault on Rafah. Think about all the lives that could be saved if they just did the right thing.
Just out of curiosity, should the leaders of Israel surrender themselves to the same court?
Why or why not?

RNC co-chair Lara Trump: ‘You cannot have ballots counted after elections are over’
Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump argued Sunday that ballots should not be counted after elections are over.
While speaking to Fox News host Maria Bartiromo, Trump explained why her party had filed a lawsuit in Nevada to stop vote counting after the election.
“You cannot have ballots counted, Maria, after elections are over,” Trump opined. “And right now, that is one of the many lawsuits we have out across this country to ensure that just that happens, that we have a free, fair, and transparent election.”
“So in Nevada, as you pointed out, we are saying we want, on election day, that to be the last day that mail-in ballots can be counted,” she added. “And we’ve been very successful in a lot of lawsuits.”
Trump pointed to another lawsuit in Pennsylvania.

Trump is a habitual line stepper. Merchan should stop threatening and lock him up.

Part of how we got here, is that part of Republican programming is that, when you get caught doing something despicable, don'tback down. Double down.
And do something else despicable, too. As a distraction.

Just an opinion, here?
But I've got a problem with the racial thread title, too.
Didn't this used to be called "The domestic terrorism thread"?

Right but I was thinking more strategy wise
like maybe it makes it easier to go after him with a bunch of organizing a conspiracy charges if you have already convicted the people he organized to do the crimes
im totally guessing though and have no idea what really guides the decision making.
Oh, I'm equally guessing.
But for example, maybe the prosecutor figures that if he doesn't charge people like Trump and Rudy, then he can prosecute the others without being subject to people who have unlimited piles of other people's money so they can play "just throw **** against the wall and hope you can delay things for 4 years" games.
(And he can let other jurisdictions spend their money doing all that.)

Yes, spend some time wondering why your lawyers cost so much and you still lose
Let us know what you come up with
If only there was one constant that every one of these trials and charges and prosecutions (and losing) had in common.
Although I'd really bet that Trump knows these endless appeals are losers.
I mean, yeah, if he gets a judge who'll give him a freebie hed be ok with that.
But I'd bet that every one of his attorney told him that these things are doomed. And Trump was "who cares? As long as losing takes several months, I'll keep pulling that handle."

They (most of them) have figured out that looking like clowns costs them votes. Might cost them the House.
