I posted two notes this evening that expanded on topics already on the minds and "keyboards" of redskins fans about stephen davis and lavar arrington.

They were mysteriously deleted from the forum page. If someone thought they were too similar to other posts, please recount the number of posts regarding chris samuels' and lavar arringtons contracts and the first day's observations on the rookies, which included some repeated information.

If someone thought they were too negative towards the team or the players in question I then have to ask what the standards are to post. I thought I brought up legitimate points about LaVar's behavior vis a vis other top picks in recent drafts. In regards to the Davis post, I took a position that resigning him was vital to the team's chances of contending.

What's so controversial about that?

Reaper -

I can assure you I didn't delete the posts. I'm not sure what could have happened to them either. Did you refresh the page? Were they on for certain and THEN deleted? I'll investigate the missing posts.

No one is trying to censor you here. I promise smile.gif

Reaper,

I just got back from a long summer's nap, and I'm the primary board monitor on this site. I have not removed one post and have not felt any need to remove anything. I've not even logged into the admin page. Die Hard is checking around, as neither he, I nor Buddha has removed it. It's potentially a software issue.

I know there have been periodic access problems on my end. Perhaps your posts corresponded with some of those. If I remove you, you'll know all about it. And you don't know about it, so it wasn't me and I don't think it was anyone else. In fact, since I'm now around, I will be very finicky if folks go over my shoulder and start removing posts. Even the owners of the site shouldn't do it without confirming with me, unless it's a clear problem post.

Doom is in the box.

I'd say at least once a day I cannot access the server for this site. Maybe there's a problem with the ISP? Could posts be getting deleted when there are server problems? I'm no tech guy mind you so what I'm suggesting is just a guess at best.

Would it be helpful for me to e-mail you guys when this server access problem occurs in the future? Giving you time and date info of occurance.

Let me know if I can assist you guys in keeping this site functioning from a user standpoint.
