Burgold
Do you think that many of the Eagles' players will be out Saturday celebrating the New Year. They have little to play for. Their season's over. It may be party time. Why not stay up til two or three in the morning drinking and calling up Smoot to arrange a boat to party on. It may benefit the Skins to be on the road this week. The Redskins will be in a hotel under curfew.

FarEastBeast
That would be sad, but I could see it somewhat happening.
TheRev
If not let's hope they're punch drunk by the end of the game. And, on a sad note, if this is LaVar's last game as a Redskin I wish he could have done for Donnie "Where My Chunk'Soup, MaMa!" McNabb what he did for Troy... onedrop
nah, they are still pros. they will make a go of it. if we perform they still have no chance but it is not as if they do not care.

MRMADD
Wishful thinking. The Eagles are a professional organization. They will be ready to play. Remember, other than the absolute beat-down by the Seahawks, the Eagles are 2-3 since McNabb went down, and each game has been close. Excluding the Seahawks, they've been outscored 110-97 in those 5 games. Not exactly blowouts. The Giants needed overtime to beat them in Philly. Don't expect anything less than a big-time NFC East bar-room brawl.
TheDane
There is no way that a player who will have an impact on the game would go out and get sloshed the night before the game. The only ones who may are: (a) injured ( talented players with no drive, looking to get cut © bad players who will be cut
MRMADD
Actually, the players who think they'll get cut will be playing their best. It's their last chance to audition for other teams.

Rogers22
The Eagles won't go out and party the night before. The Skins won't either. It'll be a tough game. Much tougher than people think it will be. I just hope we can win
