SkinsFanLI
I'm a Skins fan from Long Island and I finally making the trek down for a game. I'm going to this sundays game vs the Eagles. I picked up an Orange pass. The parking gates open 4 hrs before game time? Right? Do they close the Orange lots at any point? If I can only get there 1 hr before the game. Can I still park in the Orange lots? I'm staying in the area on saturday. But, have no plans to tailgate and do not want to get there to early and sit in the lot. Or is there things in the parking lot for the public? or is all just private tailgating type stuff? Any input would be appreciated and Thanks in advanced. Really looking forward to finally making it to game
Cooooley47
The lots wont close, but I'd really suggest getting there more than an hour before the game. Between finding a parking spot, getting in the stadium and making it to your seat, you might miss the start of the game. Especially if you want to see the pre-game activities with them celebrating veterans day. You could always meet up with the ES tailgate. But people that wait until the last hour to find a spot always seem to be angry..ha.
Mark The Homer
You need to back your plan up one hour to avoid missing kickoff.
RFKFedEx
Use Morgan Blvd. off of Central Ave. to save yourself aggravation if you're arriving near game time. The Orange lots on the south side of FedEx are significantly easier to access when traffic volume is at peak.
SkinsFanLI
Thanks for all of the input. Very helpful. Hope they win
NewCliche21
If you've never been to FedEx, move it up an hour like MTH said, and then just walk around. It's no Jerry's World, but it's home.
MarkB452
The team store has stuff you probably can't find back home. BTW, the line might look long, but they have about a dozen registers running, so the line does move (not as fast as you would like, but it moves). SkinsFanLI
Thanks Mark, I plan on doing shopping. Other than hats I can't buy anything Redskins here on Long Island. I'm staying in Largo tonight and plan on hitting the mall
