Dirk Diggler
I guess they don't invite underclassmen? It's bad enough that they don't let them participate in the all-star games but why keep em outta Indy?
sacmaster
I'm not positve but I think they only invite college seniors. The juniors have to show their stuff during pro days at their school or private workouts.

riggins44
I know a lot of kids skip the combine in favor of private workouts. It would be interesting to know, from perspective of scouts and GM's, which they prefer.

Hauss
From the Great Blue North Report http://www.gbnreport.com/ Combines on the horizon... And with this year's all-star games now in the books, the draft focus shifts to the combines which get underway in Indianapolis three weeks from today. The scouting combines that will run the show in Indianapolis later this month guard the list of who's coming like a state secret, however, this seems to be a pretty complete list of the seniors invited to this year's combines. Of course, something in the neighborhood of 40 underclassmen are also expected to be added to the list, however, were not privy to that info yet; when we do get ahold of it, though, we'll be updating the list. Oldskool
Mike Williams not invited to the combines, huh? Hopefully most teams (besides the Skins) will stay away from his private workouts and performances.
inmate running the asylum
The combine is over-rated in my book, because too many of the top players decline to run their forties or workout.
