Lavarwillkillyou
Should Marvin Lewis run a 4-3 or 3-4 defense? Do you think he would be able to manage a 3-4 defense after using a 4-3 in Baltimore. Do we have the right personnel? Would the Redskins be able to run such a defense in a smash mouth division like the NFC East? Can Renaldo Wynn, Big Daddy, and a joint effort from Bruce Smith and Marco Coleman hold it down up front?

The Sisko
The fact that so many teams are considering going to the 3-4 is kind of amusing to me. Yes, it does allow a team to compensate for a general lack of stud DE's in the NFL. However, most teams moved away from it because Gibbs and co. (plus a host of johnny come latelys) proved that smash mouth, grind it out football would allow you to :hammer: a 3-4 almost every time. Looks like history is repeating itself. Lets hope that like last time, the AFC is the conference that goes whole hog (pun fully intended) to the 3-4 as the "defense of the future". Here in the NFC, we'll stick to our old school smash mouf style.
