vt_skins
Just curious Om, what is all of this stuff you are doing? Looks interesting.

Die Hard
vt_skins - Om is preparing for a contest he will be running for members of the board in the near future. As the contest date approaches, I'm sure he will be notifying us all of any details. OM - Here's a hint bud for formatting text - though it'll require Blade to *enable* HTML (I'll speak to him) - so you don't have to use those *periods* to align everything. Use the "pre" html tags at the beginning and end of the text. In case you're unfamiliar with html.... You would precede the text with a "pre" tag - where the quotation marks are replaced with the arrow keys "< and >" and close the text with the same tag except use "</ and >" EXAMPLE: <pre> NAME SCORE Blade 10/10 Om 9/10 Die Hard 0/10 </pre> The only reason (1)you can see the tags (2) the text isn't aligned properly... is because the HTML is presently turned off Hope that helps. Om
Thanks, DH. I figured I'd probably try to learn HTML at some point, just haven't had the time to go there, yet. I hate not being able to get columns aligned ... looks crappy. In the meantime, with Blade's blessing, I've just put this stuff together using UBB code so we can get started in the preseason. It's all still a work in progress. Bear with me.
Die Hard
No problem at all. By all means do whatever is necessary and take whatever liberties necessary. I just saw a friend in need Good luck. ------------------ <IMG SRC="http://members1.chello.nl/~irmbouwman/gamestarter/sexy20.gif" border=0>
Om
In need, indeed. You wouldn't happen to have a link to "HTML for Dummies" would ya?
Die Hard
HTML Goodies I bought the book only to find *everything* in the book was on the site. It's where I started. Trust me. HTML is pretty easy. The site above is a quick, easy read and the lessons are in plain English. Something many authors of computer-related books seem to neglect. Cheers. ------------------ <IMG SRC="http://members1.chello.nl/~irmbouwman/gamestarter/sexy20.gif" border=0>

Om
Die Hard or Blade, if you're around today ... a quick question for ya, if I might: When HTML is enabled, can UBB code be combined with HTML within a certain post? Sure would make life easier for this raw beginner ... (Great tutorial site, by the way. Thanks!)
