TLusby
Did anyone watch this last night? They had Gibbs at 14 I believe and Parcells at 11, Walsh at about 5, and Shula at about 7 or so. They had Dean Smith at #1 and Spurrier at about 19. I think Jimmy Johnson was 15 right before Gibbs.

skinsfan93
What a joke that Gibbs is at #14! Don Shula is ranked around #7??? He is the most overated coach when people talk about great coaches in the NFL. 1 Superbowl, 2 appearances, right? If longevity constitutes a great coach, Shula is up there. It's like Joe Patterno. He is a great coach, but is he a top 5 coach in college football. I don't think so. At least they had Dean Smith up there.
Khun Kao
Shula was actually in the SB about 6 times, IIRC. Once with the Baltimore Colts, and 5 times with the Dolphins. He won 2 of them, and his 72 Dolphins team is still the only team to have an undefeated season.
jrfriedm
What ever. Redskins never get any respect.

Neophyte
Shula won 2 SB's, both with Dolphins (72 and 73). He holds the record for coaching in the Super Bowl with 6 appearances total.

Dude, Shut up!! I was correcting the other poster who said Shula was an assistant coach. Why in the hell would you assume I was sticking up for Shula. You obviously have ME confused with another poster. Now go back and read each post and you will see, that I was the one who first said it was for the last 25 years, then I corrected the poster who said he was an assistant coach. SO EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT I AM WAKING UP TO. YOU SEEM TO BE ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL! The program aired a month ago. Damn, you saw a repeat and think you are on top of things.
