OrangeSkin
Everybody probably knows by now he's retiring. But I had a thought, that possibly we could make him a big offer and let him shore up our DT troubles. That would give us a chance to concentrate on some other positions in the draft, and we'd have 2 big, run stuffing DTs. He didn't sound definite...he sounded more like a guy that was saying he's going to retire and then sign with somebody else. I'm convinced that all it will take is an offer he can't refuse. indyskinsfan
Good eye OrangeSkin. He would definitely be a "temporary" stop-gap player, but his constant injuries helped lead to this decision. Those knees, even here in Indy, have always been a problem. I think he has a 70 for retire to 30 against retirement right now. If he feels better by March, he may reverse his decision, workout for a few months, then finalyze where he would stand. The "Goose" is a character, so most of the time, when characters hang it up, it's over.
Redskinstailgate
I hate this fat piece of crap and could not stomach him in the burgandy and gold. His next move is the WWF where he belongs!
NavyDave
I think we will find a cheaper, younger, healthier, and capable run stuffing DT in free agency. ------------------ Take A Sip of the Marty KoolAid and Believe.
