All In Posted April 24, 2004 Share Posted April 24, 2004 I wouldn't have been surprised if the 'Skins were trying to trade up to the Pats pick and work out a deal to get Wilfork. Look at the timing, Joe Gibbs going back to the war room, DL guys droppingm, Redskins coveting Wilfork, and then the Pats taking almost the entire 15 minutes to make a decision. I guess we didn't have enough to offer. Oh well, I know we tried, not sure what other run stoppers are out there than can do what Wilfork did. Damn. W&M Posted April 24, 2004 Share Posted April 24, 2004 If the Pats really want Sean Taylor, then the Skins should really consider trading him for Wilfork and the 32nd pick ... the only reason I wouldn't have pulled the trigger on this long ago (pre-draft) is because I never thought Wilfork would fall so far.
