With Williams in our staff and our otherwise infamous spending habits - it was a little better than a guess that we would pursue Kearse and I think if it weren't a question of his durability we may have pursued him, but Gibbs isn't a flash in the pan kinda guy; his work ethic is too strong to throw together a traveling circus in hopes of winning 10 games. I would say the deals are done and we are just waiting on confirmation. You have a valid point, I'm just not sure if your supposition will play out. It's like you said though, it all depends on his (Kearse's) health!
