savesmootsprings Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 I read somewhere that he he had been cut by Pittsburgh, he's 31 now I think and I was under the impression that he has always been a good blocking TE, could be a nice pickup for the right price (ie not very much) for a couple of seasons. Redskins22 Posted March 2, 2004 Share Posted March 2, 2004 I work with a Steelers Freak and he says Bruener is a great blocking TE, I would go after him and see if we could get Kliensasser cheap, if so sign him. But the first thing I would do in the first week of FA is get everyone we will need on the Defensive side of the ball. I'd look for some of these players to be here but everyone knows about these. DE- Kearse, Daniels DT- Griffin, Coleman LB- Holdman, Washington, Barton depends on what they do with LaVar playing in what position depends on the one they sign.
