kleese
We have a Scorigami! Well, an individual franchise Scorigami at least. Sunday marked the first time in franchise history a game ended in a final score of 37-3. It is now the 12th game in NFL history overall to finish 37-3. All of them have taken place since 1981 (first was Bucs over Packers) and eight of them since 2006. The Packers have been involved in the most games (2-1) and the Packers and Bucs have the most wins (2). This was also the first time Buffalo has been in a 37-3 game. Wondering if any other losing team kicked a FG down 37-0 to land on the final score? That answer is no. In 2013, the Jags took a 3-0 lead over Colts before giving up 37 straight. Had we not kicked the FG and lost 37-0; it would have been the second such game in franchise history— a 37-0 loss at Lambeau on MNF in 2001 (our first game after 9/11). hail2skins
The reference to that 37-0 game at Lambeau is a bad reminder about how much of a train wreck the beginning of that 2001 season was. Going back to the theme of your threads in the past, the Bills visits to FedEx have been interesting: 1999 was our first non-Cowboys bump in the row as Flutie shredded us to drop us to 5-3, 2007 was the first game after Sean's death which featured Gibbs calling the back-to-back timeouts at the end, 2015 we whipped them right before the division clinching game at Philly, and then Sunday. I can't remember much about our visits to Orchard Park except that I think John Beck got sacked more times up there in 2011 than Howell did here yesterday lol. We'll always have that glorious game against Buffalo on 1/26/92 in Minnesota......... 1
