hail2skins
With Cowher being surprised last night with the HOF announcement, it brought to mind how the Steelers have only had three coaches since Chuck Noll took over in 1969. And it got me to thinking about how they had fared during that time. We all know the Steelers have been a successful organization, but what blew my mind was that, since Noll's first season where he only won one game, the Steelers have not won less than 5 games in a given season. And they did that twice, once in a 14-game season. Three seasons they went 6-10, and the rest have been 7-9 or better. Their division rivals the Ravens were 4-12 their first season in Baltimore in 1996......and that is the worst season they've had since arriving. When you consider the Skins have gone 3-13/4-12 four times in the past 11 seasons...…...just wow!
