I will say it again, we are a QB away from being a playoff team with THIS team. What can we do in the playoffs? Hopefully, we'll find out next year. MikeB Posted December 23, 2001 Share Posted December 23, 2001 Are you sure? I thought that yesterday but today, I am just not so sure we are a QB away. With this team, it's always something. Take today for example. Even with Bank's horrible play we could've tied the game. Marty calls a bone head spike to end the 2nd and then calls for three straight passes on 2nd and 1 in the 4th qtr., why? Our O-line was a siv in the 4th, and our D can't touch a QB. And we just can't seem to keep those penaties at bay. Crucial calls at crucial times. Hey, I see that we are OK in the fundamentals, a giant step up from the Norv years. But we seem to find a different way to lose every game, at home no less.
