TK
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A14788-2003Nov25.html Hasselbecks Keep Eyes on the Big Time Wednesday, November 26, 2003; Page D02 Tim Hasselbeck received some congratulatory phone calls from friends and family members after his performance at quarterback for the Washington Redskins on Sunday. But as Hasselbeck said yesterday at Redskins Park: "I probably had more messages Monday afternoon than Sunday night. They were about Elisabeth." That's because Elisabeth, Tim's wife, was selected Monday as the newest host for the television show "The View." She is a former finalist on the reality series "Survivor." The Hasselbecks actually had received the news on Friday, when Tim taped a message to his wife to be shown on Monday's show when the announcement was made. "We couldn't say anything to anybody," Tim said. "On Friday, I was maybe the biggest stress case ever, thinking about the game and thinking about the show. . . . It's kind of weird talking to your wife, but doing it to a guy with a camera." His taped message, telling Elisabeth how proud he was of her, probably would have been replaced by a live appearance, complete with the presentation of a bouquet of flowers, if the Redskins had won Sunday. It is a hectic time, with the two making plans to move their permanent residence from Los Angeles to New York after the Redskins' season. But they aren't complaining. "In September, really neither of us had a job," Tim said. -- Mark Maske

Skeletor The Invincible
I do like Hasselbeck though. I think he has shown enough to be brought back next year at least.
inmate running the asylum
No sweat, Skeletor. Hasselbeck is under contract for 2004.
Awesome
Good move signing the guy to a two year deal. With an entire offseason under Hasselbeck's belt, plus Ramsey having another offseason to learn and progress, I like the way our qb situation is shaping up for 2004.
