goskins10
Scot is a hero - the team builder extraordinary. Go Scot, we have a great future with you in charge. Yes, Scot has done a great job, especially finding guys off the street to fill in. However it's naïve to think he has done this alone. It has taken great coaching from the entire staff to engineer this improved play from all phases. They have all grown together and are starting to make a cohesive management team. As for the coaching it starts with Jay who has done a great job. Sean McVay and Kirk are learning how to work with each other. You can see them both "growing up" in front of our very eyes. Give Jay and Matt credit there. The D has not been lights out, but has really improved steadily as the season has gone on which is amazing considering we have led or been in the top 10 in the NFL for man games lost to injury. We were 4th after last weeks games. http://www.mangameslost.com/nfl-week-15-games-missed-due-to-injury-december-23-2015/ As I posted elsewhere, in terms of D, while we are 24th in yds we are 17th in pts/gm. That is a 12 spot jump. We still have a really long way to go, but this a very good start. So while Scot has done a great job getting players the coaching staff deserves a lot of credit for putting in position to be successful.
TheyAreBack
The Redskins have had excellent coaches (e.g. Gibbs and Shanahan) in the past 20 years but nobody to build a good team for them, Scot deserves all the credit he gets .
