It was the Bucs who came from behind first, scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter to take a 24-20 lead over the Panthers. With 1:06 left on the clock, Panthers’ QB Jake Delhomme led Carolina on 78-yard drive, capped by a 5-yard TD pass to wide receiver Steve Smith. Tailback Stephen Davis sat out the game with an ankle injury, so DeShaun Foster took over the running back duties. He rushed for 56 yards on 22 carries. Delhomme was 20-of-32 for 277 yards and two touchdowns.
