88Comrade2000
The NFL is thinking about a Spring League again. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/07/14/jim-fassel-hints-at-pending-very-good-spring-league/ http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/07/15/bill-polian-theres-a-crying-need-for-a-developmental-league/ I think there is a need for developmental league. I would have an 8 team Spring League, one team for each of the NFL division. Spring League East New York - stocked with developmental players from the NFC East Columbus - stocked with developmental players from the NFC North Birmingham - stocked with developmental players from the AFC North Orlando - stocked with players from the AFC East Spring League West San Antonio - stocked with developmental players from NFC South Portland - stocked with developmental players from the NFC West Memphis - stocked with developmental players from the AFC South Los Angeles - stocked with developmental players from the AFC West The league would play a 10 game season. 6 division games and 4 games against the other division. Top 4 teams make the playoffs. Season goes from late March until early June. After the season is over, the players on the developmental league goes back to their teams. Participates in training camp/preseason. The developmental players only have to play in half a season of NFL regular season; if they are used. I read somewhere, that the spring league players from the past; were out of gas by the end of the season. So, really; you would save that developmental player for later in the season. I think; if done right; a spring developmental league could work this time.
Cooleyfan1993
Well, at least it would give me football to watch in the off-season. I'd be ok with it.
