GrimReaper21
Kurt Warner was garbage in the nfl. But after he went to nfl europe he is now considered by many to be the best qb in the nfl. Maybe Wuerffel is now improved from NFl Europe.
Guest fuji869
The NFL Europe is a good training ground. It helped guys get experience and make rosters that probably would not have made it. We will see about Wuerffel?

If Danny has half the success that Kurt Warner had in his first year as the Rams Starter the Skins will have a pretty good season. TheGermanSkin
Well, didn#t he won the Heisman too? Boy I saw Wuerffel play in the NFL Europe 2 years ago, and I tell you it was fun to watch. I saw him play in Frankfurt and in Düsseldorf. Don't know his numbers anymore, but he threw the ball well. As I told before: this guy will get his chance! BCS:BraveCaringSoul
Question: What did Wuerfful's Florida Gator and Rheinfire playing days have in common?

ANSWER: Two Championships and the Fun 'N Gun offensive system. (Galen Hall the head coach of the Rheinfire was a Spurrier disciple.)

QUESTION: How many NFL teams will be running the Fun 'N Gun next year?

ANSWER: Duh!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Wuerful has NEVER been given a fair shot to prove himself in the NFL with good players and a system which caters to his strengths and minimizes his weaknesses.

This year with SS bringing the Fun 'N Gun to the NFL we will finally get a chance to see if he can replicate his collegiate success on this level.

Good luck Danny!

[ March 03, 2002, 01:40 PM: Message edited by: BallCoachSpurrier ]

Uptown Skins
Here are Wuerffel numbers from NFL Europe(his last season).

http://www.nfleurope.com/stats/off_current.htm

Haters will always talk about the down years he had with the Saints. But they never mentioned his accolades he got across the pond in NFL Europe. Matter of fact, I didn't even know Wuerffel was in NFL Europe until I read someone's post on this board.
