I think they Jay and Forester underestimated how much Watt would dominate our OL without constant double team attention. That run you call a draw, wasn't supposed to be a draw it only looked like that because Watt lined up over Chester and dump trucked him 2 yards into the backfield. Would you agree that Morris is at his best when getting a head of steam? That's what he gets to do on those stretch plays. He is running downhill before he gets the ball and already looking for holes. The interior of our OL has issues, but is pretty good when pulling or at least moving down the line. On the play in question, Morris takes the handoff from RG from that pistol formation where he is basically flat footed getting the ball. Also requires the OL to hold their ground a tick longer than normal. I'm OK with this play on more of an obvious passing down because you might catch them off guard, but hate it on third and short.
