I say no, I don't think Shanahan has earned an extension and its just not prudent to let him enter the last year of his contract spending that money. ^ Great point. If we close out the year like this, then it's time to part ways. With the 36 cap money, it may be the best opportunity for a new coaching staff. It makes plenty of sense to me. I'm all for re-branding our franchise. Maybe use the 80th uniforms and make it look more finalized? Like the ones we used in the chargers game. Strips gone from the helmets looked much better. IMO.
