Monkey
The Washington Post has agreed with the Washington Redskins to take over responsibility for Deion Sander's bonus. To show good faith in the bargain, the Washington Post has permenantly posted Deion's picture on their web site. Finalization of the agreement awaits approval by the NFL and the NFLPA for cap relief. bulldog
in the long run Sanders will be a footnote in history here in Washington, just like Stubblefield and Gilbert. but let's face it, if you are a newspaper editor do you want to have pictures and articles about a celebrity and troublemaker or do you want to have a picture of Marty alongside his career won/lost record? Remember when Gibbs was here and people around the NFL gave the Skins a grudging respect but were always more enthralled with the glamorous Cowboys (even though they went the whole decade without a Super Bowl appearance) and the pass offense of the no-Super Bowl Dolphins with Marino? NavyDave
Yeah it's going to be great to have a decade of 10 and 6 at at the minimum seasons. Slimetime doesn't have good luck; the Reds are hurting for an outfielder now ------------------ Dave
