McCann can really fly, and had several huge plays last season and got a lot of media attention for them. And yeah, apparently it can be added to the long list of failed Cowboy projects. penasquito Posted September 22, 2011 Share Posted September 22, 2011 He allegedly ran a 4.28 at his pro day, but he doesn't look that fast on the field. He made those 2 great plays last year, and what really impressed me was that on those 2 plays he demonstrated that he studies game film, knows the rules and reacts quickly to what he sees. But it looks like he's too small to play on the outside (5-10, 186) and not quick enough to play the slot. And his special teams ability wasn't enough to keep him on the roster.
