SPare
Get a load of how uncannily similar these stats are: QB listings: Rank Player Team G Cmp Att Pct Yds Yds/Att TD Int 1st Sck Rtg 5. Bledsoe, Drew BUF 2 36 53 67.9 544 10.3 3 1 23 2 112.5 6. Ramsey, Patrick WAS 2 42 62 67.7 541 8.7 3 1 24 10 104. Now, how many commentators around the league would have expected something like this (and yes, I know it's only 2 games in)
MOskins56
The one stat that looks awful is the 10 sacks. They need to straighten that out right away.
gridironmike
Yeah, or he won't be upright by the end of the year. Carr took a beating last year. We don't need that in DC.
Potato Sack
I know we hate to see those numbers beneath the stat category, but, damn, look at the statistics even when he's under pressure. Imagine what his stats would look like if we had protection for him.
redman
They also do have similar styles, although I think Ramsey's a bit more athletic. Bledsoe, for all the flak he got in NE, is known to stand tall in the pocket until the last moment before a hit to deliver the ball downfield. And he took a beating behind a suspect NE line for years . . . in fact that's why he lost his job to Tom Brady was because of an injury from such a hit. freakofthesouth
What really makes the difference in the rating? Yards/ attempt? Do sacks have any bearing on a QB's rating?
Joe7
What is 1st? 1st downs by passing?
NavyDave
Better pass protection and if receivers dont drop easy passes he would have numbers that rival those inflated dink and dunks of those QBs in the WCO
