Ellis
I watched the full 1 hour interview on this link... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/11/11/rachel-maddow-jon-stewart-interview_n_782538.html ...and it is an outstanding conversation. The ideas that Stewart presents as to what he thinks news media, especially the 24 hr kind, should do. He thinks they should change the dialogue from "left vs right" or "liberal vs conservative" to "corruption vs non-corruption". I completely agree with this and think that this is what news media SHOULD do. The junk peddled by most of the news networks is worthless and adds almost no value to a good conversation about our country. No matter your political leanings, I think you will thoroughly enjoy this discussion. Give it a shot.
DRSmith
I watched the interview and saw some of the people get all defensive after MSNBC talking heads need to be a little more self aware and little less sensative
IHOPSkins
I caught part of it In general I think Stewart (who leans left) has recently discovered a bully pulpit of credability....and is trying his best to use it correctly.....and in a longterm non-partisan fashion The Media has let us down...ALL OF IT But I do not think he is leading the charge as much as riding the wave
