Did We Really Expect McNabb To Change??

You know, for a team that went 4-12 last year, and has probably 5-11 talent this year, especially on the OL and WR, McNabb is making up for a lot of sins.

He managed the game well in the opener against Dallas, after missing most of the pre-season with an injury.

He lit it up against a horrible Houston defense. Which is exactly what you're supposed to do. And we haven't seen that recently.

He played ok against the Rams, but the 'Skins just goofed it up in that game.

He played VERY WELL against Philly in the first half and when he needed to in the second. Winning there, on the road, with this team? Not easy.

He threw for over 300 yards against the Pack

He played pretty well against the Colts, but there were a few plays left on the field.

There are few other QBs that could take this group of miscreants, cast offs, has beens and never gonna be's and make it into a 3-3 team.

Win against the Bears next weekend, go into the bye 4-3... If you told me the 'Skins would be 4-3 or 3-4 at the break with wins over the Eagles, Dallas and Green Bay, I would take it 100% of the time.

actually, we would not be 4-3 at the bye. if we win this game, we're 4-3. but we also play the lions on halloween (next sunday) and then we have the bye week. so best case scenario we enter the bye week at 5-3, ok case scenario we enter the bye week at 4-4 (beating chicago, losing to detroit or losing to chicago and beating detroit), worst case scenario we enter the bye week at 3-5 (losing to both chicago and detroit)
