We won't know for sure how long he'll be out until the results of an MRI come through, but it sounds like the Cowboys are preparing to be without him for a month. Montrae Holland would replace Kosier in the lineup, and he's a downgrade as a run blocker.

I'm pretty sure you can't do without any starters.

This won't help you.

By no means am I saying we're better w/o Kosier, but Montrae Holland is good depth. He played well in week 1 (no sacks allowed and no penalties) so we can afford for Kosier to get healthy (having a bye this week helps too).

Losing a starter for any amount of time for any team isn't a good thing. However, it's not like we lost Romo sits to pee, Ratliff, or Ware. Kosier is probably our best Oline technician (not saying a lot though), but he certainly isn't indespensible. At least we have two weeks before we play again.
