dockeryfan
Instead of players, they decided to go with fans. I don't think they could stomach having Kolb on a ticket, j/k. Lurie is trying to get the fans more involved...they're having text to jumbotron fan interaction, a Drum line for home games with open tryouts, the tix. Supposedly there will be a 30-person advisory committee, which will meet once a month with members of the Eagles' marketing brain trust. Even if they don't listen, 30 fans will be able to meet with Eagles marketing. The tix idea has been done before, but so what. It's still a pretty cool idea. I hate on the team, but when they do stuff to make the game day experience better, I'm all for it. Fact is, some people really like this stuff, so it gets people feeling good. Anyway, as with all my posts Eagles related, there will be some mocking if there is praise. I give you the actual pictures used on the tickets. skinfan2k
it would be freaking sweet to see yourself on the ticket!
OWUeagleMD
Sounds like the sort of thing that comes from a bunch of marketing specialists sitting around a table discussing what to do about rising fan discontent. Invoking James Carville, I'll respond: It's the victories, stupid! Win and the fans are happy. Lose and they're pissed. Like the economy in politics, nothing else matters.
