Thinking Skins Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 I haven't finshed watching the whole game over again, but I have seen the first drive of the first quarter and I am even more confident in our team now. On all of SD's runs, we were in position to make the tackles in the backfield and in most cases actually hit him in the backfield, but our problem was that we did not takcle him. Whether thats because SD is a power back or because we cant tackle remains to be seen. But We did get off blockers and get in SD's way and were in position to make plays. We just didnt follow through. I am still confident that we will have a good regular season, we just need to go throug some tackling drills and maks sure we rwrap up and deliver some powerful blows.
