NOLASKINSFAN
I've always been a turner fan, this could be his year. The ends don’t always justify the means. But in the case of the Chargers, they absolutely do. Despite the fact that head coach Norv Turner was a controversial hire and has had ups and downs during his nearly three-season tenure in San Diego, the final results have always been positive. That’s why he’ll soon be the new owner of a contract extension with the team. From what we hear, it’s a “done deal” that Turner’s contract, which is set to expire after the 2010 campaign, will be extended in the very near future. Whether it comes after the regular season or once the playoffs are over remains to be seen, but either way, Turner is about to get well-deserved job security, regardless of what he does in the postseason. KingGibbs
It would be a smart move to extend him based solely on the chemistry he and Rivers are building.
doncherry
I've always liked Norv, glad to see that he is doing well. The Chargers look very, very good right now...
authentic
Say what you want about Norval. He's been one of the best play callers in the past 15 years.
