stwasm
No matter how you feel about him, here's wishing a speedy recovery for him. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/12/08/bryant-gumbel-had-surgery-for-lung-cancer/#comments We've written quite a bit around these parts about Bryant Gumbel, who for two seasons was the lead play-by-play voice of NFL Network. And we're sorry to note today that Gumbel has revealed he had surgery for lung cancer. "They opened up my chest, they took a malignant tumor and they took part of my lung and some other goodies," Gumbel said today while serving as a guest host on Live with Regis and Kelly. Gumbel, who looked thin but seemed happy and sounded the same as always, says he's OK "for the time being." We wish Gumbel a speedy recovery. Dallascrushers
yea wish him a fast and healthy recovery...I just can't get over how he let everyone know he had cancer when hosting Regis and Kelly Live....I guess he wanted to let the world know on his own terms instead of through the tabloids like so many other stories...good for him...prayers are with you Mr. Gumbel

DarrellsMyHero28
Definitely wish him the best. Not a fan of his in terms of his broadcasting but that doesn't matter when it comes to this. Good luck Bryant.
