I remember when this stupid commercial came out. The Giants had started very poorly (of course, they turned their season around by beating the Skins on the road). NY was growing impatient with Eli, and nobody expected them to make any noise in the playoffs when they made it as the 5th seed.

The commercial actually has to remind the viewers that Eli Manning is, yes, a professional quarterback. At the time, it was one of the worst attempts at using a "star" to promote a product (extra credit to the ridiculous "now I'm done" workout commercials with Matt Hasselbeck and Brady Quinn).

The rest is history -- Eli became Super Bowl MVP later that year.

For tomorrow, Snyder should order enough Citizen Eco-Drive watches for every player, and two for Zorn. It's not like he has anything else to do than check the time.
