dfos81
Same formula I used before w/ Tackles. NFC teams O-lineman ratings based on least amount of penalties and least amount of sacks allowed per 16 games started ( for ex. player x has 123 gs, divided by 16=7.68 seasons . Same applies even if they have 8gs, player x 8gs, divided by 16= .50 seasons ). I have added the penalties + sacks allowed= total number for Olineman. The only discrepency would be if Rookies start thats not updated depth charts, and in the Vikings case b/c they have 0 gs by any Centers. And Dallas w/ Davis playing Tackle most of his career. http://hosted.stats.com/nflfront.asp Team by team depth charts based on teams website, nfl.com, and espn.com. NOTE: The lower the number the better! Also take into account that some teams pass more(ex. Arizona/ New Orleans) than other teams like the Falcons and Panthers. Arizona Lt- Mike Gandy 12.54 Lg- Reggie Wells 8.37 C- Lyle Sendlein 3.04( only 18gs) Rg- Deuce Lutui 11.4 Rt- Levi Brown 18.95 --------------------------------54.30 Atlanta Falcons LT- Sam Baker- 16 (only 5gs) LG- Justin Blalock 13.06 C- Todd McClure 3.63 RG- Harvey Dahl 6 (only 16gs) RT- Tyson Clabo 7.99 -------------------------------------46.68 Carolina Panthers LT- Jordan Gross 11.40 LG- Travelle Wharton 9.65 C- Ryan Kalil 6.4 RG- Keydrick Vincent 7.61 RT- Jeff Otah -19 ---------------------------------------46.45 Chicago Bears LT- Orlando Pace 13.4 LG- Josh Beekman 7.25 (only 16gs) C- Olin Kreutz 6.85 RG- Roberto Garza 9.24 RT- Kevin Shaffer 9.71 -----------------------------------------------46.45 Dallas Cowboys LT- Flozell Adams 13.69 LG- Kyle Kosier 9.07 C- Andre Gurode 9.15 RG- Leonard Davis 12.46( played as a Tackle for most of his career) RT- Marc Colombo 16.31 -------------------------------------------------60.68 Detroit Lions LT- Jeff Backus 15.96 LG- Damion Cook 13.6 C- Dominic Raiola 4.65 RG- Stephen Peterman 8.55 RT- Jon Jansen 11.61 -------------------------------------------------------54.37 Green Bay Packers LT- Chad Clifton 11.07 LG- Daryn Colledge 10.17 C- Scott Wells 6.14 RG- Jason Spitz 5.17 RT- Tony Moll 19.33 -------------------------------------------------51.88 Minnesota Vikings LT- Bryant McKinnie 12.78 LG- Steve Hutchinson 5.41 C- John Sullivan 0 ( zero games played) they have 2 centers w/ 0 games. RG- Anthony Herrera 15.34 RT- Ryan Cook 16.25 ----------------------------------------------------49.78( note Vikings have NO center w/ any GS!) So they really aren't as good as shown here. New Orleans Saints LT Jammal Brown 11.99 LG Carl Nicks 5.53 C Jonathan Goodwin 9.99 RG Jahri Evans 5.99 RT Jonathan Stinchcomb 6.83 ----------------------------------------------------40.33 New York Giants LT- David Diehl 14.41 LG- Rich Seubert 5.09 C- Shaun O'Hara 6.11 RG- Chris Snee 8.00 RT- Kareem McKenzie 7.77 -----------------------------------------------------41.38 Philadelphia Eagles LT- Todd Herremans 9.12 LG- Max Jean-Gilles 5.80 C- Jamaal Jackson 7.56 RG- Shawn Andrews 8.24 RT- Jason Peters 13.40 ---------------------------------------------------------44.12 San Fran. 49ers LT- Joe Staley 13.25 LG- David Baas 11.08 C- Eric Heitmann 6.19 RG- Chilo Rachal 2.66 (6gs) RT- Marvel Smith 9.99 --------------------------------------------43.17 Seattle Seahawks LT Walter Jones 8.10 LG Steve Vallos 6.45 C Chris Spencer 7.2 RG Rob Sims 7.8 RT Sean Locklear 10.71 -------------------------------------------40.26 St. Louis Rams LT- Alex Barron 21.37 LG- John Greco 24 (1 gs w/ 1.5sacks allwd) C- Jason Brown 8.80 RG- Richie Incognito 15.58 RT Jacob Bell 7.39 ----------------------------------------------77.14 Tampa Bay Bucs LT- Donald Penn 11.99 LG- Arron Sears 11.91 C- Jeff Faine 2.43 RG- Davin Joseph 6.4 RT- Jeremy Trueblood 17.07 ---------------------------------------------49.80 Washington Redskins LT Chris Samuels 11.37 LG Derrick Dockery 11.95 C Casey Rabach 8.14 RG Randy Thomas 3.97 RT Stephon Heyer 22 -----------------------------------------------------57.43 NFC 1. Dan T.
EXcellent work, dfos81. Thanks for taking the time to put that together. It tracks pretty well with offensive line reputations, with a few exceptions. And it shows that the Redskins have lots of room for improvement on the line - though not so much as the Cowboys!!! Really Stephon Hyer(22) brought the Skins down, makes you understand how good Jansen was (pre injuries). Dallas really dropped b/c Davis has Tackle type numbers, being that he played most of his career at Tackle. The Vikings had 0 games started by any centers so they wouldn't be as high if I could account for that. I may be able to get to AFC next week. Thanks guys
