Laxpunk2006 Posted April 23, 2009 Share Posted April 23, 2009 A lot of people wonder this. FS is a need b/c we want to move Landry back to SS. He can be a Troy Polamalu-esque player down there. Right now, he is stuck at FS, and he is not as valuable there. I'm not sure what, if any, inside info you guys get at PGH, but is there any account of the coaching staff voicing this opinion? I happen to agree that while Landry is a good FS, I think he could be a great playmaking SS which seems to be a difficult role to fill. I like the analysis that Sanchez would be a disaster, and I totally agree.Just curious though, why is FS listed as a need for us? Maybe he meant FB? I wouldn't be too shocked if the Skins grabbed a top-rated FB in the later rounds of the draft to back up and replace Sellers when he retires/moves on.
